Cookies

This site sets no analytics or marketing cookies, and uses no third-party tracking. Nothing is set on your device unless you agree to it.

The one cookie this site does set

Choosing Accept or Reject on the cookie banner sets one cookie: wkwtp_consent. It stores only your choice, the date you made it, and the version of this policy that applied — nothing else, and nothing that identifies you beyond your own device. It lasts 182 days (about six months), after which the banner will ask again.

This cookie does not itself require your consent. Under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), a cookie that is strictly necessary for a service you have requested — here, remembering the choice you have just made — is exempt from the consent requirement that applies to other cookies.

If analytics is switched on

If analytics is switched on in future, it will only ever be used to see which pages people find useful — never to identify you individually or for marketing. It would not run until you had been asked and had chosen Accept on the banner above, and rejecting would continue to mean nothing beyond the choice cookie is set.

Change your choice

You can accept or reject at any time using the control below, which shows your current choice. Changing your mind here takes effect immediately and replaces the earlier choice.

You have not made a choice yet — the banner will ask on your next page view.

Browser controls

You can also block, delete or be warned about cookies through your own browser's settings. Doing so may prevent the choice cookie itself from being remembered, so the banner would reappear on your next visit.
